God is everywhere, we're told. But I believe he especially likes being at Thorncrown Chapel, deep in the woods of the Ozark mountains near Eureka Springs, Ark.
My heart stirred last weekend when I walked down a country lane and first glimpsed the wood-and-glass chapel rising among giant oak, hickory, magnolia and maple trees just off U.S. 62, southwest of the resort city.
The American Institute of Architects ranks the chapel as the nation's fourth best building of the 20th century. It was designed by prominent architect E. Fay ...
