TONY Blair yesterday promised to send British soldiers to sort out conflicts in Africa.
He said up to 1500 UK troops, spearheading a new European Union force, will be deployed to some of the bloodiest wars in the world.
Outlining his vision of Britain's future role, the PM told a United Nations meeting the in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, that improving the plight of Africa was the 'one noble cause' worth fighting for.
But last night, the Tories poured scorn on the idea.
