Japan airline seeks permission to fly Haneda-Hakodate route.

Sep. 16--SAPPORO, Japan -- Hokkaido International Airlines Co., known as Air Do, asked the transport ministry on Thursday for permission to fly the route linking Tokyo's Haneda airport and the northern Japan city of Hakodate, Hokkaido, starting March 18, the airline said.
Air Do asked for the authorization to operate two round-trip flights a day on the new route, according to the Sapporo-based airline.
