Texas blues guitarist U.P. Wilson dies in France.(Knight Ridder Newspapers)

FORT WORTH, Texas _ U.P. Wilson, 70, a Texas bluesman of international renown who charmed audiences with his one-handed guitar style, has died in Paris.
Daphine Jackson of Fort Worth, a family member, said he died Tuesday or Wednesday.
Jean Guillermo, director of the Paris Blues Society, confirmed Mr. Wilson's death but said details were unavailable.
Jackson said funeral plans were incomplete.
