Syracuse's first mayor and a Civil War hero will be brought back to life this fall as part of a family event that's new to Syracuse, a ghost walk.
The Haunted History Happening will take place 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 8 and 9 at the Onondaga Historical Association Museum and several blocks around it downtown.
A ghost walk combines Halloween-themed storytelling with historical re-enactments.
