Japan's Miyazaki Prefecture Approves Financial Aid for Skynet Asia Airways.

Jul. 14--MIYAZAKI, Japan--A group of nine mayors in Miyazaki Prefecture approved Monday a request by Skynet Asia Airways for 300 million yen in financial aid, the mayors said.

The mayors made the decision during an extraordinary meeting in the city of Miyazaki on Kyushu in southwestern Japan.

On July 1, Skynet Asia Airways President Shoji Shimoda sought the aid from local associations of towns and mayors in Miyazaki Prefecture.
