Oct. 2--Gallo of Sonoma has again taken a top prize at an International wine competition, this time for its 1998 Estate Bottled Chardonnay.

The chardonnay, which has a suggested retail price of $45, was awarded the Mission Hill Trophy for Best Chardonnay Worldwide by the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London. More than 4,000 wines from 20 countries were included in this year's competition.
