MANCHESTER, UK -- EOC Polymers, a subsidiary of an Oudenaarde, Belgium-based coatings supplier, is adding capacity for making polyurethane dispersions to its present portfolio based around acrylic resin systems.

The new materials, developed in a two-year effort by Matthias Buffel, one of the firm's researchers, are aliphatic-based systems and will form the basis of about 10-12 products, said Dirk Vergeynst, a sales engineer with the firm.
