This is in response to the "San Francisco Snubbed" letter in the June 2004 Cruise Travel. I am a volunteer greeter at the San Francisco cruise-ship terminal. Although our basic goal is to make visiting San Francisco a happy experience, we are also very well acquainted with the increase in cruise-ship calls and those making San Francisco a seasonal home port.
