WINTER DAWN 
 
   First light, or an efflorescence of darkness? 
   Wardrobe, chair, glimmer between dream and 
   fact, gather substance. A study in grisaille, 
   the bookcase fills with distinct spines, each with 
   its claim on memory. A gleam appears 
   on tabletop and housefront of Le Sidaner's 
   Table in the Sun: soon bowered dapplings  ...
