TUSTIN, Calif. -- Lee Katz has joined Ocean Pacific Sunwear Ltd. as chief executive, succeeding Jim Jenks, who has been named chairman of the board. The moves are effective immediately.

Jenks, 52, the original founder of the company, succeeds Robert Driver as chairman. Driver has retired and now holds the title of chairman emeritus.

As chairman, Jenks will concentrate on product, overall direction of the company and strategic planning, according to Michael Balmages, senior executive vice-president of OP.
