WINSTON-SALEM -- The eighth annual Foothills Chamber Music Festival is all about connections this year.

For the past few weeks, the festival's founding musicians - violinist Elizabeth Oakes, cellist Benjamin Wolff and pianist Rachel Matthews- have shown the quirky links between people, diverse musical styles, well-known masterworks and little-known gems.
