The southeastern Virginia angling community lost one of its most revered ladies of fishing Wednesday when Ruth Cobb died.

Ruth, along with family members, for years ran Cobb's Marina in Norfolk's Little Creek Inlet.

Cobb became known over the years for her caring attitude about the anglers who used her marina and boat launch as a starting point for fishing trips.
