Dan Welch hasn't seen a grocery strike in Madison during his nearly 20 years of leading the union here.
And Welch isn't expecting one now, even though employees at the three Cub Foods stores have overwhelmingly rejected the company's new contract offer.
"We've contacted them and got some additional meetings set up," he said. "I think we can work it out."
