Q. I have a 3-year-old Beagle who has suffered much trauma in her young life, including a dog attack and being hit by a car. These have resulted in a broken leg and in surgery. She is suffering from a compressed disk in her vertebra that is causing her to walk "forward" as if on her elbows. My vet has suggested surgery; however, I believe that another surgery would shorten her life. Would acupuncture be an option?
