Fresh meat and fish are the focus of a new Libertyville business called Tripoli's, which also features prepared foods, smoked fish and a deli.

Meg Tripoli, who describes the business at 408 Peterson Road as a gourmet butcher, runs the business with her husband, Don, and Don's brother, Roger. The shop is just west of the driver's license facility.

Fresh fish arrives daily, and popular selections include wild salmon, jumbo shrimp, tilapia, swordfish and tuna.

Boar's brand cheeses and lunch meats are another highlight. The ...
