The Khronos Group on Monday announced that it has unanimously ratified and publicly released the OpenGL ES 1.1 and EGL 1.1 specifications, meeting the Khronos Group's commitment to provide an update to the application programming interface (API) for embedded 3D graphics, precisely one year after its initial release.
