Jul. 7--The hottest thing in packaged alcohol drinks is cooling off lots of people this summer.

A flood of the flavored malt-based beverages, whose brands include Bacardi Silver, Skyy Blue, Capt. Morgan's Gold and Smirnoff Ice, is filling shelves in liquor stores, supermarkets and bars.
