For fans of bluegrass, Cajun, country and other forms of traditional American music, this weekend will be as sweet as syrup.

The Sugar Maple Traditional Music Festival kicks off its inaugural year this Friday and Saturday, bringing all these different styles of music and more to Lake Farm County Park, south of the Beltline on the shore of Lake Waubesa.
