Sep. 29--Bob Saxon's evening was interrupted by an urgent call at 11 p.m.

The owner of a multimillion-dollar yacht phoned Saxon from New York with bad news from the captain of his 167-foot vessel.

The yacht, with 16 people on board, had lost power and was adrift 300 miles off Bermuda.

Saxon, who heads Bob Saxon Associates, a Fort Lauderdale company that manages about 100 yachts for their owners worldwide, immediately called contacts in Bermuda to find a tugboat that rescued the endangered boat.
