Twenty years ago next week, Richard Burton died of a brain haemorrhage at the age of 58 in Switzerland, where he lived with his wife Sally.

Last week, to coincide with the anniversary of his death on August 5, 1984, Sally announced a theatre is to be built in his name at the Royal Welsh College of Music at Cardiff Castle. And on Thursday she opened an exhibition of Burton memorabilia in Cardiff.
