In the March 2004 issue of Sabretache, Joe referred to the rank of W03, as mentioned in a letter to the Army newspaper. A further letter to Army reports that the rank "was adopted by the British Army in 1938 ... (and) was abolished in 1946" (Army, 11 March 2004). Joe says: Still waiting for more information. Also, does anyone know what badge of rank a W03 wore?
