Oct. 7--ATLANTA BREAD AT 11 EAST COULD CAUSE 'CHAIN' REACTION: Atlanta Bread Co. is talking with The Vestcor Cos. to lease space at Vestcor's 11 East Forsyth apartment building at 11 E. Forsyth St., marking potential interest by national chains in renovated downtown housing buildings.

"There's a lot of follow-the- leader type mentality with national companies," said Kirk Wendland, executive director of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission. "When one comes, you might see others come to take a look."
