According to "VoV", Vietnamese and international scientists, including Nobel Prize winners J. Cronin, J. Friedman and N. Ramsey, will gather in Hanoi from August 5-11 to discuss new approaches to elementary particle physics and the cosmos. The meeting, the fifth of its kind, will be held under the sponsorship of the Vietnam Science and Technology Institute, the Foreign Ministry, the National Center for Scientific Research, the Atomic Energy Committee of France, and the Abdus Salam International Theoretical Physics Center of Italy. Vietnam has set up a national board to prepare for the meeting with Prof. Nguyen Van Hieu as Chairman.
