For 40 years, Sylvia Plath has been referred to in the past tense, the talented and tragic poet who killed herself at age 30. Yet today, at this particular juncture in our cultural history, Plath seems to be everywhere, as omnipresent as if she were alive and serving as the world's current "It" girl.
