Were he alive today, Edward Lear no doubt would be seated at his desk writing some sort of nonsense about the estimated 15,000 urban foxes raising havoc within London city limits.

Animals, among other creatures, intrigued the famous Victorian "nonsense poet" and limerick writer. Before he could attempt to write about today's fox invasion, though, Lear first would have to kick any number of overnight guests out of his old London study.
