Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington was recently honored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for his years of support of the youth organization.

Washington was presented the Herbert Hoover Humanitarian Award, the highest honor the BGCA gives to volunteers, at the annual President's Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City.
