2004 JUL 17 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Inc., (PRX) has completed the closing of its acquisition of Kali Laboratories, Inc., for $135 million in cash and warrants.
The Kali owners may be entitled to up to an additional $10 million based upon certain product related performance criteria.
Kali is a generic pharmaceutical research and development (R&D) company located in Somerset, New Jersey. On April 13, 2004, Par announced a definitive agreement to acquire Kali.
