Danbury's modern reputation as an attractive setting for a diverse range of businesses might not have been if it wasn't for a group of 25 business leaders who in 1918 were concerned about the future.
The industrial development agency they created help shepherd a transition from dependence on the dying hat industry to making Danbury a home for high-tech manufacturers and multinational corporations.
