Jun. 30--Boardwalk Auto Group, which owns Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen dealerships in the area, has purchased Ferrari-Maserati of Dallas.

The group is renaming the dealership Boardwalk Ferrari and Boardwalk Maserati. The two franchises will remain at their shared location in Plano.

No price was disclosed for the dealership, which sold 60 new cars last year, The Freeman Report said.

Auto group owner Scott K. Ginsburg said Ferrari and Maserati are a natural fit with the company's other makes. "We share a lot of the same customer base," he said.
