Freya Manfred reaches 'Home' with new poetry.

ST. PAUL, Minn. _ Freya Manfred is talking about her new poetry collection, "My Only Home."
"This book means so much to me because I haven't had a book of poetry out since 1985. I've been so close, so often. It's been a long, frustrating time," she says.
Yet there's no frustration in Manfred's voice as she calmly recalls disappointments in trying to get her recent work published, even though her four previous collections sold well. She tells of coming in second "in so many contests" and of being tantalized by publishers ...
