Supermarket Chain Denies Plans to Build Second Store in New Braunfels, Texas.

Mar. 11--NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- A spokesman for H. E. Butt Grocery Co. said Wednesday the supermarket chain has no plans to build a second store in New Braunfels, despite a letter from a local company saying it is selling H-E-B the land for a new store.
Wednesday, the San Antonio Express-News published an article quoting the letter from Carl Armbrister, the controller at Senior Flexonics, who wrote that the company was nearing the sale of a portion of its property to H-E-B for another store in New Braunfels.
