When the vision of a major Performing Arts Center in Miami was first put forward a number of years ago, the enormity of the undertaking was difficult to imagine. The creation of three state-of-the-art performance facilities, linked by a pedestrian bridge over Biscayne Boulevard, was seen as a tremendous challenge--indeed, our grand opening is now two years behind schedule. Nonetheless, we can take great pride in what the Performing Arts Center has already accomplished.
