Apr. 24--The federal government is seeking an injunction barring a Hereford cattle company from selling cattle containing illegal and unsafe drug residues.
The Justice Department's Office of Consumer Litigation filed court documents this week against Richard Hayes Cattle Co., claiming the firm repeatedly violated federal laws preventing cattle with unsafe drug residues from entering the food supply.
