Average annual driving rain indices for 35 stations spread all over the country have been computed to produce map of driving rain exposure levels. Only nine stations fall under the classification of 'moderate' exposure while the remaining stations were in the 'shielded' category. Thus, seventy-four per cent of the stations need not take actions to prevent the damages resulting from driving rain on the exposed building surfaces.
