NEW YORK _ It kills Billy Wagner that he can't pitch.

It kills him even more that he can't pitch again until next month.

"I'm a bad DL guy," Wagner said last week at Shea Stadium of being on the disabled list. "I'm going to cheer my teammates on, come up and pat 'em on the butt and tell them `good job.' But don't ask me to be overjoyed about watching people do my job."

Wagner, who is on the disabled list, hasn't pitched since May 7. He missed a few games because of back spasms in Arizona before he strained his left groin May 13 in San ...
