Trial Lawyers Prepare To Fight Again

While potential sponsors of a 1992 California no-fault initiative still appear hesitant to rush into the fray, members of the California Trial Lawyers Association are taking no chances and have already launched a fund raising campaign to counter the no-fault threat.

A CTLA "Initiative Alert" advisory sent out to the Sacramento-based group's 5,500 members in October notes that the stage is set for a repeat of the no-fault initiative campaign that pit trial lawyers against the insurance industry in 1988.
