Stephen Einhorn, president of New Line Home Video (distributed by Columbia TriStar), projected a 1992 "release model" of three films per month for the company, which was founded in November 1990 by former Vestron execs Einhorn and Michael Karaffa, New Line's senior vice president sales and marketing. Einhorn noted that, subject to theatrical programs being delivered on time and finding the right place for them in the release schedule, he expected revenues from New Line's shipments in 1992 to equal or exceed $100 million.
