SUFFOLK -- The Berlin Wall is gone now, and so is the U.S. president who helped bring it down.
But while it stood, it was a potent symbol of the division between East and West, a division that grew wide when the Soviet Union blockaded that German city.
To day, a flying relic of the greatest humanitarian effort in aviation history - the Berlin Airlift - comes to Suffolk as part of the annual Salute to Aviation at the Suffolk Executive Airport.
