Artists and musicians will enliven Ocracoke as part of the 4th annual Ocrafolk Festival. Visitors can immerse themselves in the local culture of this coastal hamlet through storytelling by Ocracokers, traditional Ocracoke-style square dancing and music inspired by island living.

The three-day cultural arts extravaganza begins with a "down home" community potluck "Meet the Performers" dinner on Friday night at the Ocracoke Community Center. On Saturday, more than 30 artists - mostly crafts folk - will display works outdoors along Howard Street ...
