United Technologies Research Center creating a network for R&D in Europe.

United Technologies Research Center, the central research organization of United Technologies Corp., has located an office in Munich, Germany, to initiate collaborative research efforts across Europe.
"We plan to establish a number of research sites to support United Technologies' operations doing business in Europe," said Dr. Vic Russo, newly appointed director of European operations for the Research Center. "Currently, UTC employs nearly 38,000 people in Europe."
Russo is based in Munich.
