Tim Fristrom was a source of agitation to Twin Cities sportswriters. He did not know that, and neither did we.
Fristrom went to the Twins and the operators of the Metrodome in 1985 with an idea: Why not use this all-weather facility to give town teamers, high schoolers and beer-league softballers the thrill of playing on a major league field?
