SOMEONE from a local event-planning company had put in a call to Balloon Celebrations with an urgent request: the Schwarzenegger campaign needed thousands of balloons ready for the election victory party at the Century Plaza Hotel the following evening.

"Of course we said yes," recalled owner and founder Cindy Jasiman. "We stayed up all night getting 5,000 balloons ready for the balloon drop, with plenty of caffeine and music to keep us going."
