Local Girl Scouts joined Girl Scouts nationwide on April 22 to say "thank you" to adults who make a difference in their lives, their Girl Scout leaders.

In honor of Girl Scout Leader's Day, Sybaquay Council thanked the 3,000 adults who make Girl Scouting happen for more than 12,000 members of the council.

"Without our volunteers, there is no Girl Scouting, and Leader's Day is a wonderful way for us to show just how much we appreciate the time and energy each volunteer gives to helping girls grow strong in body, mind, and spirit," said Pat Appelhans, CEO of Girl Scouts, ...
