MAN GUILTY IN $58,000 CREDIT-CARD FRAUD CASE.(LOCAL)

NORFOLK -- A bus company employee admitted in federal court Wednesday that he made $58,000 in unauthorized purchases of snacks, alcohol and cigarettes on a government credit card.

Richard L. Haganman, 57, fled the area after authorities set up a meeting with him for Feb. 6 at a local McDonald's. Haganman was arrested in Houston six weeks later.

According to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court, Haganman was employed by Eddie's Bus Service in Chesapeake from July to December, washing vehicles and performing ...
