Banner Health, Phoenix, Ariz., is using new software to upgrade its patient data files, in the hopes of consolidating information now contained in a variety of separate systems.

In May, Banner selected Initiate Systems, Chicago, to install its Initiate Identity Hub software and Initiate Data Quality Remediation Services.

After a comprehensive software evaluation process, Banner Health chose Initiate to solve its patient identifier problems. Banner Health will utilize Initiate's software at the point of registration across its system of 19 hospitals in eight Western and ...
