ONE of suicide skydiver Alastair McLaren's best friends filmed his 58-second death plunge from 12,000 feet.

At first, all seemed well as Alastair clowned for the video camera mounted on his friend's crash helmet.

But the fun turned to horror as the 39-year-old deliberately slipped out of his chute to fall to his death.

His friend was so stunned, he carried on filming, shouting: 'No, no, no.' His screams could be heard on the ground.

On landing, he threw off his camera, saying: 'It's all in there.'
