Gorgon Partners Push Australia LNG Project Forward.

SINGAPORE -- With government approval under its belt, the partners behind Australia's massive Gorgon liquefied natural gas (LNG) development are pushing to move it onto the next phase, a senior project executive told Oil Daily.

In the latest developments, the companies are aiming to finalize commercial agreements with its customers by the end of the year. The A$11 billion (US$8 billion) Gorgon project is due for plant start-up by mid-2008, with the delivery of first gas by the end of that year, Peter Glass, vice president for Gorgon marketing in China and the US, ...
