Two weeks ago, while I was helping transfer my paralyzed husband (he had a stroke three months ago) to a wheel chair, I felt something pop in my left shoulder. Since then, I have been unable to lift my shoulder because of pain.
I also experience shoulder ache even when Im just at rest. I consulted an orthopedic surgeon three days ago. He told me I have a rotator cuff injury. I was given anti-inflammatory medications, which supposedly will relieve the pain and reduce the inflammation, but it has been three days and my shoulder has improved only slightly. Can you enlighten me ...
