May 29--One of the four original plaintiffs who filed a class-action racial discrimination suit against Coca-Cola in 1999 has lost his long legal battle against the company -- ending his hopes of collecting damages.

A federal magistrate ruled this week in favor of Coca-Cola's request to dismiss the case, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta by former company security guard Greg Clark.

Clark's case was one of the few remaining legal issues left in the wake of a racial discrimination case that rattled Coke. The matter was mostly ...
